About Us
What is Friendship Force?
Friendship Force is a non-profit 501(c)(3) international cultural exchange and home hospitality program that promotes international understanding, friendship and world peace. It is a volunteer network of 300 clubs in 60 countries known as Friendship Force International (FFI).
Our Mission:
To promote global understanding across the barriers that separate people.
Our goal is to create an environment where friendships can be established across international borders. We do this by connecting people from different countries at the personal level. Home Hospitality is the signature program of Friendship Force. You will have the opportunity to be a guest in a club member’s home, usually for a week. This is a way to experience places and events not ordinarily seen as a tourist. When local hosts open their homes to visitors from other countries and cultures, friendship and understanding can develop through the sharing of meals, conversation and the routines of daily life. Group activities are arranged to include other club members to expand the potential of friendship beyond the host family.

Connecting Cultures Through Friendship Worldwide
Join our global network to travel, share cultures, and create lasting friendships. Experience the warmth of hospitality and immerse yourself in diverse traditions across the globe.
International and Domestic Journeys
On a Friendship Force Journey, you become a guest for a few days in someone’s home where the real power of citizen diplomacy can be experienced. Journeys may be to a foreign country for 7 days or to a club within the USA for about 5 days. Each Journey itinerary is unique, but most will combine a Friendship Force home stay with an active program of taking in local sites.
